Two gates of Bhadbhada dam were opened after two years in Bhopal today, due to heavy rains in Bhopal, almost the whole of Madhya Pradesh.
Two gates of Bhadbhada dam were opened this morning due to the completion of the water-logging capacity of the big lake of the capital Bhopal. In its first year 2017, the gates of this dam were opened. However, sunshine has been intermittently in the capital Bhopal since morning and rain has also stopped since last night.15 out of 21 gates of Bargi dam in Jabalpur were opened yesterday. After this, the water level of Narmada river has also increased rapidly in Raisen district. In Raisen district, the water of Barna river was also flowing two feet above the culvert, disrupting the road from Raisen to Sagar. Raisen to Bhopal, Jabalpur and Vidisha road are also blocked due to river drains.The district administration has evacuated 80 families from 12 villages in the submergence of Sardar Sarovar Dam in Barwani district.
In Burhanpur, the Tapti River is flowing at 226 meters above the danger mark 220 meters above 6 meters, opening all 41 gates of the Hathnoor dam. Due to this, Surat district administration of Gujarat has also been alerted.Due to continuous rains in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh, the district administration has declared a holiday in all government and private schools today. Due to flood situation in all the river rivulet in Jhabua, contact with many villages and cities has been lost.
In view of the intensity of rainfall in Ujjain and the surrounding area, today also the district administration has declared a holiday in schools. On the other hand, in Mandsaur also today, the district administration has announced a holiday in all schools.According to the local meteorological center, with the monsoon active in the state, Dronika (monsoon trough) is passing through West Madhya Pradesh and Jabalpur. It can cause heavy rain even today. Rainfall activities may decrease from August 11 or 12.
