Dutee Chand had made history by being first Indian to win a gold in women’s 100-meter sprint at the 30th Summer University Games in Napoli, Italy. She accomplished this Goal in 11.32 seconds.
An Ace Indian Sprinter and once was even on the cover page of Cosmopolitan magazine. She clocked 11.41 seconds in Semi-Finals and made her way to finals.
Apart from this, she has brought glory in India by bringing first gold from this edition.
Earlier in May, she publically accepted the same-sex relationship and became a subject for speculation.
