The Contribution of parents to protect their children from cyber crime is really important. Children are the major victims of cyber crime. Children are innocent, every colorful thing they see online they believe it easily. Most of the online games are designed for children where as few are rather more than just to entertain kids. We know the incident where an app similar to talking tom was built where children where asked the personnel questions and where targeted by criminals . an deadly games such as blue whale has caused so much chaos around the world. With parents busy in work , kids are left to stay with beautiful activities or learning apps online. And innocent heart doesn’t know the corrupted people intentions. Playing games or trying to level up with task, they do things which are inappropriate.
Every life is precious and guarding our young generation from harmful things is our responsibility . It may be a hectic day but still talk to them with love and affection they deserve your time. Understand there day to day activities, be a part of it if possible. Take them outdoors , play with them , discuss their problems. Know about their friends and people they are close with. Go through the websites they frequently visit . Keep them away from any important documents . don’t upload much of there photos details online since it may be unsafe for kid as the child kidnapping has been deep rooted. Check in for counselling when unusual behavior is identified. Be supportive and educate them about the law , reality and about the things they need to stay away from being targeted.
