Rahul Gandhi turns 49 today, spends his day with party workers and is greeted by many important political figures including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Manmohan Singh, Rahul Gandhi’s sister and General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, General Secretary KC Venugopal, Ghulam Nabi Azad and others poured into the party office and greeted the party chief.
Many Congress youth supporters gathered outside the Congress office at Akbar Road and outside Sonia Gandhi’s residence, danced and showed their joy and celebration. Rahul Gandhi distributed sweets amongst the media persons and did the cake cutting ceremony with the Congress party members at the office on Akbar Road, New Delhi.
A string of tweets started wishing Rahul Gandhi a happy birthday and how he inspired people lined up on Twitter. Rahul Gandhi thanked all. The President of Congress party was also wished by the PM to which he particularly retweeted and thanked.
