Working towards developmental projects Jaivardhan Singh is the Cabinet minister of Urban development and Housing in Shri Kamal Nath ministry Madhya Pradesh. Shri Singh was born on 9th July 1986 in Raghogarh of Guna District of Madhya Pradesh. He acquired early education from Doon School Dehradun and completed graduation from Shri Ram college of commerce Delhi. Afterwards he went to New York to pursue his post graduation and did MA in Public Administration in development practice from Columbia university.
He is son of Shri Digvijay Singh who is also an Indian politician and served as 14th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.
Shri Singh belongs to Indian National Congress. He was elected member of legislative Assembly from Raghogarh for the first time in 2013 where he won with margin of over 59K votes highest among all candidates in Congress Party. He got elected for the second time from same constituency in 15th legislative assembly in 2018 and became the youngest member.
He is married to Sreejamya Shahi a descendant of the Dumaria royals of Champaran district of Bihar. It was a big fat wedding and an occasion that was not missed by media to be publicised.
Jaivardhan Singh is currently taking initiatives for development and setting up plans for urban cleaning, proper housing and so on.
