RAJASTHAN :ONE HELD FOR SHARING ONE CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CLIP IN SOCIAL MEDIA

Jaipur: In January month 2020,Thursday, the Special Police Operation Group of Jaipur arrested a man ,name Akbar Khan on the allegation based on the complaint that he has watched child pornography and circulated the clips in other social media platforms ,which is an offence  punishable under Information Technology Amendment Act 2008 for imprisonment for description of a term and with fine as prescribed by law.

It was alleged that Anbar Khan ,a 28 years old man ,resident of Ramawali ,Sriganganagar , shared a child pornographic content of 1.14 minutes video in a app ,and when other group members of the app raised objection against such unlawful act ,the admin of the group removed the man from the group.Akbar Khan has already criminal records of several offences registered in the Police Station of Sriganganagar.The member ,a social activist of the group complaint
against the clip in the National Cyber Crime Portal said the Police of Sriganganagar.

The members of the group were social activist and also linked to the politics .

DGP(Anti terrorist squad and SOG) Anil Paliwal said that the Cyber Crime Investigation Unit of SOG investigated the crime and arrested the accused.

Still ,the Government has banned many pornographic sites as it influences people to commit serious offence and also hampered the growth of the child ,who is a victim of pornography ,the
increase in crime of spreading ,circulating ,exploiting the children in this area is rampant and its required at least people should report such crime whenever they come across such offences in cyber world.
